Broken_Leg -- 7/18/2007: Me in my room directly after surgery. I felt coherent at the time, and remember this picture, but thinking back, I was pretty out of it. Because my leg didn't heal all the way, I ended up with a plate on my fibula and an external fixator to hold my tibia in place. I have a rod through my heel connected to two bars that are holding my tibia in place with two pins directly in to the bone.
